The Town of Concord’s 200th Birthday will kick off on March 20, 2012 with a Birthday Party at the Town Hall. The celebrations will progress throughout 2012 with events tied to Easter, Pageant of Bands, Dairy/Ag Fest, 4th of July etc. and ending with the October Fest. The objective will be to get all churches, schools, organizations, businesses and the entire Town of Concord involved with these events and the celebration.
The Steering Committee meets at 10 AM every Friday at the Concord Town Hall. Any individuals or organizations that have any Bicentennial activities or ideas that they would like to present to the committee for consideration may contact the Committee through the Supervisor’s office (592-4946) or attend the next meeting.
THE NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING WILL BE DECEMBER 16, 2011 at 10 am in the courtroom.
